You are offered a drink. Danielle introduces you to someone she thinks you should know. The first conversation begins naturally.
By the time dinner is served, the room feels warmer. Stories move between plates. Someone makes everyone laugh. A stranger tells you something you will still be thinking about the following morning.

Every CASA dinner begins with a menu created for that particular evening. Madeiran ingredients and traditions meet Danielle’s wider experience of cooking, traveling, and learning through food.
Each course carries a sense of place, but the table is free to wander through different cultures, memories, flavors, and stories. You may discover an ingredient you have never tried, recognize a flavor from somewhere you once lived, or hear the story that made a particular dish belong on the table.

At some point, the room changes.

CASA is thoughtfully hosted so connection never feels forced. Introductions are intentional. Seating is considered. The evening is allowed to unfold naturally, with just enough guidance to help twelve individual guests become one table.

A restaurant can serve an excellent meal. CASA gives you the feeling of being welcomed into something. The menu, ingredients, flowers, lighting, music, stories, seating, and rhythm of the night all work together so the evening feels considered without ever feeling staged.

Meeting people as an adult can be unexpectedly difficult, especially after moving somewhere new. You can know plenty of people and still miss the feeling of genuine connection. You can visit beautiful restaurants and still wish the evening had given you something more than a good meal.
CASA was created to make space for that something more. A table gives us somewhere to gather. Food gives us a shared language. A private home allows people to settle in differently than they would in a public venue.
The rest happens through stories, curiosity, laughter, and the simple decision to remain at the table a little longer.

Absolutely. Many CASA guests arrive on their own. Thoughtful introductions and considered seating help you feel included from the beginning.
Do I need to live in Madeira?
No. CASA welcomes residents, expats, second-home owners, digital nomads, and visitors looking for a more personal way to experience the island.
Where does dinner take place?
CASA dinners are held at a private home in Madeira. Confirmed guests receive the complete location and arrival details before the event.
Can dietary requirements be accommodated?
Please share dietary requirements before booking. Because every menu is created for the evening, accommodations depend on the particular dinner and will be confirmed in advance.
What should I wear?
Dress as you would for a beautiful dinner with interesting people: elegant, comfortable, and entirely yourself.
What is the cancellation policy?
Because there are only twelve seats and each menu is prepared for confirmed guests, reservations follow the cancellation and transfer policy provided at booking.
There will never be that exact table again.

By the end of the evening, the candles will have burned lower, the plates will be empty, and someone will already be suggesting that the table should meet again. The only thing missing is your place at it.
